The mission of Giddings Middle School is to provide a quality learning environment in which all students will gain the knowledge and skills that are essential for their success and will prepare them for their future.
Giddings Middle School includes the sixth, seventh and eighth grades. The campus enrollment is about 420 students. Technology is highly integrated into both grade levels. In addition to a full complement of core academic courses, GMS offers Spanish, Band, Physical Education, Athletics, Art, Health, Keyboarding, Multimedia, Journalism, Teen Leadership, and Career Investigations as electives.
Giddings Middle School also has programs that encourage all students to participate in school activities. GMS is very competitive in the district in UIL Academics, Band, and Athletics. GMS offers Cheerleading, National Junior Honor Society, and a variety of student clubs and activities.
